Have you thought about collaborating in an international project but don't know how to start it? In this workshop, participants will learn strategies to promote successful cultural exchanges, from finding partners to achieving positive learning outcomes on web-based social spaces.

 

In this workshop, attendees will learn about the steps for a successful collaborative experience, from finding a partner to maintaining students’ participation in social spaces, using the dynamic web-based services and applications available nowadays. The presenters will also show practical examples of international projects they have facilitated and will discuss the strategies to develop effective global exchanges that involve dialog-based learning.

The Blogging for Beginners EVO Session aimed at introducing English teachers into the world of blogging and its potential for teaching and learning. It provided the chance for educators to set up and enhance their first blog, and explore the world of possibilities weblogs provide us with. The Blogging for Beginners team will present some examples of blogging in the language classroom, showing participants how to effectively integrate this powerful tool into the teaching/learning context through collaborative work.
